Stay far away from this branch and this company unless you want stress, disappointment and terrible customer service. After the awful experience we had with Esma Osman at the Crown Road branch — an extremely rude, hostile and deeply unprofessional manager who seems more interested in intimidating customers than actually helping them — we were told to come to this store for help. Dan the manager acted convincing at first and made it seem like he genuinely cared and wanted to resolve everything. He promised to investigate and help us properly, but it was all lies. We later found out that Dan is actually best friends with Esma Osman, which explains why he suddenly disappeared, was always apparently “too busy” to speak to us and completely abandoned the situation. We were then passed to Ilyas because Dan became impossible to contact. Ilyas was no better — dismissive, unhelpful and a brilliant actor. Instead of actually resolving the matter, he kept pretending he cared while constantly brushing us off and making excuses. When we were finally informed that my daughter’s glasses had been disposed of, I asked for this in writing. Ilyas confidently assured me that if I emailed him, he would respond immediately and confirm everything. Yet again, another lie. I emailed him exactly as requested and never received a single response. Just more fake promises, dishonest behaviour and terrible customer service from people who clearly have no intention of helping anyone. The worst part is there is absolutely no point in making a complaint because nobody deals with them. I have made several complaints and not one has been resolved or even properly responded to. No accountability, no professionalism and no care for customers whatsoever. This company seriously needs investigating because these two Enfield branches seem full of the same rude, dishonest and unprofessional staff covering for one another instead of helping customers, including the customer service team over the phone who are just as useless and unhelpful. Honestly, save yourself the stress, disappointment and frustration and go elsewhere — somewhere with a proper company structure, professional staff and an actual complaints process that listens to customers instead of ignoring them!

Quite honestly, the worst service. They have no idea what they are doing. Multiple visits, wrong glasses. Suggest you use the specsavers in Winchmore Hill. They are so much better. Don’t waste your time at this place. It’s not worth it.

The customer service was excellent from start to finish. I was served quickly and the staff were extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. I didn’t really have a clue what I was looking for, but they took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me feel comfortable and confident with my choices. Nothing felt rushed, and the whole experience was smooth, professional, and welcoming. Yazmina and Dushane were both amazing throughout my visit. Yazmina made me feel so comfortable during my glasses fitting, was extremely understanding, and explained everything so clearly. Dushane was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both of them provided genuinely excellent customer service that made the whole experience really positive.

I have used Specsavers before, Palmers Green and Enfield mainly. Every time I have paid for an eye test the cost came off the glasses I bought, this did not happen this time and it made my experience very expensive. So that is a 0 The service was very good, apart from being 15minutes after my appointment time. That’s an 5 The lady who tested my eyes was fantastic, explained everything to me clearly so that I could understand. That’s a 10. The gentleman who organised my new glasses was very good at customer service support, no hard sell tactics and clearly understood the products. That’s an 8 Had specsavers offered some discounts, like they used to, my score would be higher, and I would possibly be more likely to recommend and buy my future glasses from Specsavers.
